Book Review

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

I just finished this book and really did enjoy it, I mean look at the title how could you not fall in love with this book. It is written in letter form retelling the experiences of the people who lived on the Guernsey Island during German occupation during WWII. I have always been drawn to WWII books but this was from a new perspective. Loved it!!

Hm, good to know! I really love books that take place during wwII also! If you haven't read NIGHT yet by Eli Wiesel, I would recommend it.

Too bad we couldn't discuss this over a bowl of edamame while sewing. :(

Okay Michelle I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Anna when she did a post titled book review...I clicked looking for a suggestion. Already read this one and loved it. If I send you and Anna the list of books my book club has read could you try to do some reviews of something not on the list?
ps this is Le's sister in case you didn't know.

You should read "These is my words."

Just finished it while on the beach. So good.

I read this book back in April at the behest of a friend and now another friend is reading it. I'm excited to rehash it with her. It is such a feel good book. It made me want to write and speak more eloquently :)
