I found a new trick the other day when I was trying to figure out how to make freezer jam. To get rid of the core of a strawberry you can simply shove a straw up the middle of it. I showed Delilah how to do it and she willingly cored an entire carton of strawberries.

So cute that D was helping. I never knew this trick either, how cool. I am lazy and will throw strawberries in our smoothies without even taking off the leaves. :P
she's a much better worker than Lincoln. He would have done it once, complained and whined that it was hurting his fingers and not done any more.
I'm way impressed she did it so much, and she was very thorough. :)
And her hair is crazy Long!!!
hmm...wonder if i can remember that until next summer when strawberries are affordable again? :) I love how she tells you that her brother is ok, like yeah mom, he's fine, back to these strawberries...
